Flood Relief Response 2022

Bismillah Foundation Responds to 2022 Floods in Pir Jo Goth, District Khairpur, Mangneja, and 100 Villages of District Khairpur

The year 2022 brought devastating floods to Pir Jo Goth, District Khairpur, Mangneja, and surrounding areas, leaving many families displaced and in dire need of assistance. Bismillah Foundation responded to the call for help, providing essential aid to those who were affected by the floods.

From August 25th to September 30th, Bismillah Foundation distributed 650 ration bags, each containing items such as rice, flour, sugar, lentils, cooking oil, and other necessary supplies. The cost of each bag was approximately PKR 4,500, and they were distributed to families who were struggling to find food due to the floods.

In addition to the ration bags, Bismillah Foundation also provided cooked food to 500 families who were unable to cook for themselves due to the floodwaters. The meals were prepared in a hygienic and safe environment and were delivered to those in need.

To provide shelter to those who had lost their homes, Bismillah Foundation set up 100 temporary shelters in the affected areas. These shelters provided a safe place for families to stay until they could return to their homes.

To protect families from mosquitoes, which are known to spread diseases, Bismillah Foundation distributed 500 mosquito nets to families in need.

Medical assistance was also provided to ill flood victims, with medicines distributed to 1000 people to help alleviate their suffering.

The response from Bismillah Foundation was made possible through the generosity of donors and volunteers. The organization remains committed to serving those in need, and its efforts have made a positive impact on the lives of those affected by the floods.

Bismillah Foundation would like to extend its gratitude to all those who contributed to its flood relief efforts. Your donations and support have helped us make a difference in the lives of those who were affected by this natural disaster. We remain committed to serving the community and providing aid and support whenever it is needed.

  1. Next time I read a blog, Hopefully it does not disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, however I truly believed you would have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of crying about something that you could possibly fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
